Naturalis has curated a permanent exhibition at ‘The CubeHouse’, the new headquarters of our strategic partner BNP Paribas, in Amsterdam’s Zuidas business district. Through this exhibition, we are bringing the story of biodiversity closer to the corporate world.
A conversation aboutbiodiversity
On the ground floor of “The CubeHouse” building is a multifunctional space open to the public - not only for building occupants but also for visitors and passersby. This is where work, culture, and community programming come together. In this space, we’ve set up an exhibition that tells the story of biodiversity. It’s a wonderful place to engage in conversation with BNP Paribas clients, among others, about urgent issues related to this topic - and to collaborate on solutions.
Scientific knowledgebrought closer to businesses and organisations
Marcel Beukeboom, Managing Director of Naturalis: “The pressing issues surrounding biodiversity call for us to join forces and collaborate even more closely. Together with governments, businesses, and other organizations, we are developing solutions based on scientific knowledge. The invitation from our partner BNP Paribas to organize an exhibition, lectures, and roundtable discussions at The CubeHouse is a unique opportunity for Naturalis to reach new audiences and bring our knowledge of biodiversity closer to the business community. In the Zuidas, where this topic is less of a given, we’re demonstrating just how immensely important the rich variety and interconnectedness of nature are for our future."
Exhibitionand dialogue
The exhibition at The CubeHouse tells the story of biodiversity as a dynamic, fragile, and valuable system in which humans play a crucial role. Biodiversity is more than just a collection of beautiful species: it is the foundation of our lives and well-being - our “natural capital.” Roundtable discussions are being organized on urgent topics related to this theme.
