Low-stimulus day for families

Evolutie in Naturalis

A museum visit is full of stimuli, such as sounds, moving images, smells, or flashes of light.  For someone who is easily overstimulated - for example, due to autism, ADHD, HSP, or a non-congenital brain injury - this can be too intense. That is why Naturalis organizes special low-stimulus days for families.  On these days, the museum is quieter and the lights and sounds are adjusted to that families can explore together in peace.

We also organize low-stimulus evenings for adults (16+).

Please
note

These low-stimulus days are intended for families who are unable to plan regular museum visits due to overstimulation. We organize this in good faith and assume that it will not be abused, so that peace and quiet can be guaranteed for everyone.
